  • Some background for this story matters so bare with me. I was coming home from Texas Tech University back to Florida for Christmas when I got in a wreck on the interstate AT NIGHT when rental car agencies were closed. Keep in mind I had a full car packed with bags of clothes, laptop, speakers, etc. My car was undriveabe after the wreck and I had no transportation or place to stay. 2 officers showed up to the scene and once the cars were towed, one of the officers went out of his way to help me out. Since it was my first wreck I didn't know what to do but the officer helped me work with my insurance company and made sure they were able to cover staying in a hotel for the night and a rental car the next day. I had no way to get a rental car right then, so he literally helped me take everything out of my car, put it in the back of the police SUV, and drove me to the hotel, and even walked inside to make sure they had a room available since it was late. At NO time was he rude, disrespectful, or show any sign that he was annoyed to help me out. I was out of town and didn't have anyone to call and this officer made sure I wasn't stranded. Very thankful! I'm a junior in college and have never reviewed anything in my life, but I had to say something about this when it happened. I believe the last name of the officer was Knight although I can't remember his first name. Good people still exist!!

They should make you pay/get pet license every 5 years than every year, most of these animals don't even go out most haven't even seen the outside world, I don't even know why they make you get pet license, rabies tag with your number on the back is all you need. They just find any little thing to get money. A fine of $164 for no dog city license displayed, really.
